Dental Implants
A dental implant is an artificial tooth root which acts as an anchor for replacement teeth. Shaped like a screw, it is surgically placed into the jawbone to secure a replacement tooth or bridge in place. Implants are stable, permanent and do not rely on neighboring teeth for support. They are an ideal tooth replacement procedure because they look and feel like natural teeth.
We can provide:
- Bone grafting with or without implants
- Single & Multiple missing tooth replacements with dental implants
- Implants retained fixed & removable dentures
The implant is placed directly into the jawbone to support permanently cemented bridges or crowns. Implants can be made from several different types of metallic and bone-like ceramic materials that are compatible with body tissue. When surgically anchored into the jawbone, the implant fuses with living bone in a process known as “osseointegration”.
Single & Multiple Missing Teeth Replacement
With Dental Implants
A dental implant is an artificial root made of titanium metal that serves as a substitute for the root of a missing tooth. The top of the implant is attached to an artificial tooth (crown), resulting in a beautiful natural-looking replacement tooth.
Implant Retained Fixed & Removable Dentures
Dentures usually are fitted with an attachment that clicks to top of implant and stay secure. No up, down or sideways movements occur providing well fitted dentures that work much more efficiently than one with dental implant.
